This is easier than you think. In fact, once you lay down the law, you kind of hope she skips another class just so you can follow thru. When you get multiple skip notices from school, simply park your daughter on her bottom and excitedly explain what will happen the day after you get another notice. Tell her you’ll wear your blaze orange hunting shirt and accompany her to every one of her classes to make sure she attends, participates and is respectful to her teachers. Let her know how much you’ll enjoy meeting all her classmates – especially at lunch. And so as not to cause too much trouble, you’ll be asking each of her teachers to rearrange the seating chart for the day so the two of you can sit next to each other. Chances are your daughter will find this one-on-one bonding time to be a little over the top and it will likely cure her of her desire to cut classes.
